A room on Bayshore forthe long sit,the good color, and the honest mirror.
I opened the doors in 2011 so Miami could have a salon that also felt like a porch.
Aboutthe shopand the hands in it.
My name is Yair Vaknin. I have been cutting and coloring hair for more than twenty years, and YSV is the room I built to hold that work. We sit on North Bayshore Drive, with the water out one window and the city out the other.
We started on Lincoln Road in 2011, then opened this Edgewater house in 2014. The first shop taught me the tourist rush; this one taught me the regulars. Both taught me to listen before I pick up the shears.
Upstairs is the spa — facials, manicures, pedicures, a quiet hour if you need one. Downstairs is the salon floor, the color bar, and the barber corner for the men. Valet out front is always free, and I mean always.
Theservicesand what they cost.
I book with Leece every six weeks and she remembers what I said last time about the bangs. The valet remembers my car, which is the small thing that keeps me coming back.
